Chief Hudson has also focused on putting the Peguis First Nation’s fiscal house in order and on establishing strong and effective working relationships with the Governments of Canada and Manitoba as well as the municipalities of Winnipeg and Selkirk.
Chief Hudson’s vision is to develop economic partnerships and to take advantage of the diverse potential beyond the reservation system, while ensuring the protection and enhancement of First Nation Treaty Rights.
